Living with Heart Disease Part 1

When you are living with heart disease, the most important thing to do is to surround yourself with family members that supports your every move. Like anyone who suffers from any kind of heart disease, it's okay to feel like no one understands where you are going through. It's okay to sometimes question what the future holds for you! But one thing I must say you absolutely need is FAITH! Having faith and knowing that no matter what happens, GOD GOT YOU!He is on your side.

Deuteronomy 31;6 says

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

This verse speaks to me in many ways. It means even when you feel like you are alone and no one gets you, GOD IS WITH YOU he understand what you are going through! If you are feeling like life isn't much and your struggles are yet to reach that stage where you start seeing the light, this verse is for you! When you are down and you have little to no faith about certain situations, just know GOD IS WITH YOU!

The God in you is so much stronger that what you are making him out to be. God will never let you down, he will never leave you. Stop resisting what God has planned for you, accept the challenges and know he will see you through.

There are times where I felt unwanted and misunderstood by so many but I came to realized that no one can truly understand what I am going through because they don't know what it means to be 26 and living with such disease. Not only that being a single mother alone can take a toll on one's life.

These are some pictures of me 6 years ago at United Hospital, Saint Paul, Minnesota. One of the pictures was taken days after my surgery at Abbott Hospital, Minnesota.
